Friends of the Beaumont Public Library Book Sale!!

It’s time again for the Friends of the Beaumont Public Library System Annual Book Sale held to benefit the library system’s programming. There will be a good mix of donated and gently used library items this year including movies, books, books on tape, large print items, and more. Come browse and find that special item that you have been looking for!


The dates and times of the sale are:
Friday, January 9th- 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday, January 10th - 9:00am – 6:00pm


On January 8th from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM there will be a preview sale for our Friends of the Library. If you are not a member you can join at the door. The base cost of membership is $10.00.


The Sale will be held at the Beaumont Public Library
801 Pearl Street, Beaumont, TX 77701

Literacy Program has a new location!!

Introducing the NEW Maurine Gray Literacy Center (Formerly Maurine Gray Literacy Depot). We have relocated to the Main Library at 801 Pearl Street in the lower level of the library. Our hours have stayed the same Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Come see our new facilities and talk to our excellent staff!

The Beaumont Public Library System offers e-books and e-audiobooks through Overdrive. Click on the link below to access the Overdrive site and begin using your Kindle, Nook, Sony, and other readers, as well as computers, smartphones and more to access this content. You will need a current Beaumont Library Card to be able to use this service.
