Library Mission Statement: The Beaumont Public Libraries mission is to link resources to the citizens of Beaumont to enrich their lives.
With a rich and vivid history, the Beaumont Public Library System (BPLS) is a city library organization comprised of 6 branches. There are four circulating libraries: the Theodore Johns Library, the Elmo Willard Library, the R.C. Miller Library, and the Beaumont Public Library. Also included are two specialized libraries, the Tyrrell Historical Library and the Maurine Gray Literacy Depot.
Positioned around the City of Beaumont to maximize usage by the citizens, the library system circulates more than 350,000 items a year. Most of the libraries are open Monday through Saturday except for the Beaumont Public Library, and the Maurine Gray Literacy Depot which are open Monday through Friday.
With over 50 staff members, the library prides itself on providing exemplary customer service to all that come to the libraries.
We offer an assortment of books, DVDs, Blu Ray, Books on CD, Magazines, Newspapers, and much more for checkout. The libraries also offer internet access through public
computing stations and wireless access, as well as printing and copying services. |
