Summer Reading Club 2013!!

The Beaumont Public Library System Summer Reading Club theme this year is "Dig Into Reading"! The Library System will have have a full slate of activities and programming for our patrons and we will be having both children's and adult reading programs again this year! Registartion at the libraries begins June 7th but this year we are also going to have ONLINE pre-registration beginning June 3rd.

New ILL System for Beaumont Public Library System

The Beaumont Public Library System is excited to announce a new Inter Library Loan system throughout the state of Texas called the Texas Group Catalog. It allows the library system to access hundreds of libraries throughout the state to fulfill patron needs for materials. You must have a current Beaumont Library Card, free of any fines of fees, to access the system and make requests. Click on the link below to begin your adventure!

E-Books and E-Audiobooks Now Available

The Beaumont Public Library System offers e-books and e-audiobooks through Overdrive. Click on the link below to access the Overdrive site and begin using your Kindle, Nook, Sony, and other readers, as well as computers, smartphones and more to access this content. You will need a current Beaumont Library Card to be able to use this service.

There is a "help" button on the website for patrons who need assistance. 

NEW! The Miller Library Branch offers one-on-one training classes to help patrons get the most from these services. Classes are Mondays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Call 409-866-9487 for more information. 

ESL Learning Now Available at the Beaumont Libraries!

The Beaumont Public Library System is offering the Mango Languages - English as a Second Language learning system at the libraries and on the web. It is a free service that allows those in need of learning English to use a self-paced course of real world applications that integrates vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture. New Library Catalog APP for Smart Phones

The Beaumont Public Library System has a new Catalog APP for Android and iPhones called BookMyne! The APP can be found at the links below or you can scan the QR codes with your phone to set it up. This APP allows you access to our catalog where you can search for items, place holds, and even look at your account! Install it today!
